Council expected to pursue a facelift for Burbank bike paths

For those of you who want an improved South Channel Bikeway this holiday season, you may get your wish.

The Burbank City Council on Tuesday is expected to pursue a $982,109 grant from the State of California Strategic Growth Council Urban Greening Project Program to make improvements to the South Channel Bikeway.

The funds would be used to connect the Lake-Alameda Greenway to the Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station.
