Nominees sought for youth award

Nominations are now being taken for Burbank’s Austin Cook Award for Outstanding Youth for recognition in May 2012.

Each year the city of Burbank’s Youth Board honors outstanding youth that have positively contributed to the community. Examples may include youth that have provided outstanding volunteer service, made an achievement while overcoming adversity or donated their talents to the community.

This award program is designed to highlight middle and high school teens who live or go to school in Burbank. Submit completed forms by March 23.
