A 23-year-old Burbank man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly waved a revolver at someone, police said.

At about 7 p.m. Sunday, police were in the 1600 block of North San Fernando Boulevard after a possible fight was reported at McCambridge Park. Numerous callers then reported seeing a man jumping through backyards in the area, police Officer Joshua Kendrick said.

One witness said the man, Daniel Cornick, allegedly brandished a firearm.

Officers eventually caught up to and arrested Cornick, and recovered the discarded revolver, which police said was stolen.

Cornick was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

He remained in custody on $80,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court May 9, according to the Los Angeles County sheriff’s department.
