Police are investigating possible criminal charges related to an incident that led police to find several weapons inside a Burbank home Wednesday.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at a home in the 1800 block of Keeler Street at 6:50 a.m. today.

SWAT officers were called in because three of the occupants initially refused to come out.

At about 8:30 a.m., a man who was not immediately identified came out of the residence and told police that three other men were inside, Sgt. Darin Ryburn said. They eventually emerged from the home 40 minutes later.

The area was evacuated for approximately two hours, and police closed streets at Keeler and Peyton Avenue, Grismer Avenue and Elliot Drive, and Keeler at Morgan Avenue.

After authorities obtained a search warrant, they recovered several weapons in the home, said Ryburn.

The incident remains under investigation.
