Burbank police are asking the public’s help in identifying the person who smashed a brick through Councilman David Gordon’s optometry business on March 16.

A review of surveillance video footage shows the man arriving in a 2005-06, silver/gray four-door Toyota Tundra with a matching tonneau cover, chrome rims and a sticker in the lower left corner of the rear window, according to police.

The man allegedly threw the brick at the front storefront window of Gordon’s optometry practice in the 800 block of Hollywood Way. Police responded at about 10:12 p.m. to what was initially reported as shots fired, only to discover the brick and broken glass.

The man was described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build, wearing a baseball cap, light-colored shorts and a dark-colored, “hoodie” sweatshirt with white writing on the front.

Police asked anyone with additional information to contact Det. David Kleinfeld at (818) 238-3279.
