Burbank police plan DUI checkpoint for Saturday

Burbank police this week announced that they will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night.

The location of the DUI checkpoint was not disclosed, but in the past, they have been set up at Glenoaks Boulevard and Providencia Avenue; San Fernando Boulevard and Delaware Road; Olive Avenue and Virginia Avenue;and Olive Avenue at Warner Boulevard.

The operation is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, via the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, police said.
