The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office has filed three counts of first-degree residential robbery against the men who allegedly robbed a Burbank home by tying up its residents at gun point.

At an arraignment Monday, the men pleaded not guilty and are due back in Los Angeles County Superior Court June 21 to set a date for a preliminary hearing.

On May 31, Daryl Phillip Banks, a 45-year-old Compton resident, and Robert Anthony Grogan, 48, of Sun Valley, allegedly tied up the residents of a home in the 1600 block of Scott Road at around 9:20 a.m., Burbank police Sgt. Darin Ryburn said.

Ryburn declined to elaborate on what the residents were bound with or provide other details of the incident, citing an ongoing investigation. It was unknown if the victims and suspects knew each other.

Both men remain in custody, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
