Three people stormed a nail salon on Victory Boulevard Tuesday and robbed patrons after brandishing a gun, police said.

Two men and a woman in their 20s entered the nail salon on the 100 block of North Victory Boulevard at about 5:25 p.m. and demanded cash and purses from workers and customers, Sgt. Darin Ryburn said.

One of the male suspects lifted his shirt and “showed what appeared to be the butt of a handgun,” Ryburn said.

All three suspects fled on foot onto Clark Avenue, Ryburn said, adding that the six people inside the salon, including the owner, were not injured.

On of the men was described as being black, about 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall, 175 pounds and wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, according to police.

The second man was also described as black, about 22 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds and as wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The woman was also black with long hair, about 20 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 200 pounds and wearing a black shirt and pants, police said.

Anyone with information was encouraged to call Burbank police at (818) 238-3000.
