Burbank gas station robbed at gunpoint

A gunman stole an undetermined amount of money from the convenience store at a Burbank gas station Friday night, according to the Burbank Police Department.

The suspect entered the Shell station store at 181 W. Alameda Ave. around 9:55 p.m., pointed a semi-automatic pistol at the clerk and demanded money, said St. Jerry Misquez. The man then ran away, according to police.

The suspect is described as a black male with a shaved head, 25 to 30 years old, 5’10” to 6’ tall, 210 to220 pounds, wearing a multi-colored Pendleton shirt and black jeans. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call (818) 238-3210 or (818) 238-3000.
