Good morning, readers. Today is Thursday, September 13. A murder suspect who led police on a chase through Echo Park and downtown L.A. Tuesday is a North Hollywood resident.

Ian Schlesinger, 24, was arrested on a warrant for the slaying of former Marshall High basketball star, according to Patch. He faces additional charges for shooting at a police officer during the chase.
