Arizona woman arrested at Burbank hotel on suspicion of prostitution

A 19-year-old woman from Phoenix was arrested at a Burbank hotel Saturday on suspicion of prostitution, Burbank police said.

After allegedly seeing a post online advertising her services, Burbank investigators found the woman, Lisa Geier, with a client in a room at the Extended Stay America hotel at 2200 Empire Ave., according to police.

“These girls advertise pretty bluntly they’re here in Burbank,” said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz.

Prostitution arrests can be common for cities with airports, he added.

“Prostitutes come and go easy -- they fly from here to Vegas, Vegas to here,” he said. “That’s the trend.”
