San Fernando Valley roundup: Police seek ‘job app’ robber, Henry’s Tacos prepares to close

Good morning, readers. Today is Thursday, December 13. A man who has used the same ploy to rob restaurants and shops in the Valley has earned himself a nickname.

Police are looking for the ‘job app bandit,’ who has allegedly hit up businesses since September, asking for job applications only to turn a gun on the employee when they return, reports the Daily News.

A cultural staple for Studio City residents, Henry’s Tacos is set to close at the end of the month if a dispute between the property owner and business owner remains unsolved, reports the Huffington Post.

The first phase of the Glendale Narrows Riverwalk is complete and residents are already putting it to use, reports the Glendale News-Press.

A 21-year-old Burbank mom plead not guilty to child abuse charges, reports the Burbank Leader.
