A woman who reportedly crawled through the doggie door of a Burbank home on Tuesday stole jewelry and “I Love Lucy” collectibles, police said, making it the third home burglary in the city within the span of a week.

Sometime between 7:30 a.m. and noon, the suspect – described by neighbors as a white woman in her 40s – entered a home in the 1900 block of North Fairview Street through the doggie door, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

Jewelry and “I Love Lucy” collectibles and figurines were reported missing, and the victim’s dog was reportedly moved to the master bedroom, Ryburn said.

The suspect was seen by a neighbor entering the passenger side of a dark sedan, which sped off eastbound on Van Owen Street, Ryburn said.

In recent days, two other daytime home burglaries have been reported on North Brighton Street.
