League to host candidate forum

The League of Women Voters of Glendale/Burbank will host a forum Wednesday featuring the candidates running in the upcoming Feb. 26 primary election in Burbank.

Candidates running for City Clerk, City Council and the Burbank Unified school board will answer questions– in that order – starting 6 p.m. in the Burbank City Council Chambers, 275 E. Olive Ave.

With the community still “burnt-out” from the November election, Joan Hardie, the league’s president, said she hopes the forum inspires Burbank residents to vote.

“People need an opportunity to meet these new people and revisit the incumbents,” she said.

Hardie will be accepting questions from residents for the forum via email and at the event. Email questions to candidateforum@lwvglendaleburbank.org.

Feb. 11 is the last day to register to vote.
