Woman in critical condition after being stabbed in neck, body

A Pacoima woman is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times in the neck and body early Saturday, police said.

The woman, whose name wasn’t immediately available, stopped by a home in the 200 block of Griffith Park Drive in Burbank just after 2 a.m. and pleaded for help after suffering from multiple stab wounds, Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco said.

When police arrived, they discovered the woman had sustained life-threatening stab wounds, he said. She was taken to a local hospital, where she remained Saturday afternoon.

No one has been arrested in connection with the stabbing. But preliminarily, the suspect appeared to be known to the victim, police said.
