Woman remains hospitalized after suffering multiple stab wounds

A Pacoima woman remained in critical condition Tuesday after being stabbed multiple times in the neck and body early Saturday, police said.

The woman, whose name wasn’t immediately released, stopped by a home in the 200 block of Griffith Park Drive in Burbank just after 2 a.m. and pleaded for help after suffering from multiple stab wounds, Police Sgt. Claudio Losacco said.

When police arrived, they discovered the woman had sustained life-threatening stab wounds, he said. She was taken to a local hospital, where she remained in critical condition Monday afternoon.

No arrests had been made by Tuesday, but police officials said a preliminary investigation revealed that the stabbing suspect may be known to the victim.
