In a fit of road rage, police say a man about 55 years old got out of his car and snatched another driver’s cellphone at a Burbank intersection on Thursday.

At 4:30 p.m., the two drivers were involved in a road-rage incident in North Hollywood. When the two stopped at the intersection of Hollywood Way and West Verdugo Avenue in Burbank, the suspect walked to the victim’s car and grabbed his cell phone, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz.

The suspect returned to his car and drove away without returning the phone.

The victim feared for his safety but was not physically injured, according to police reports.

Police described the suspect as roughly 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 205 pounds with gray hair. He was driving a white two-door car.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Burbank police at (818) 238-3210.
