Four home burglaries were reported in Burbank over the weekend, including one in which thieves gained access by crawling through a vent, police said.

On Friday or Saturday, thieves crawled through the vent for a home in the 1900 block of North Kenneth Road and stole gaming equipment and guitars, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz.

In the late morning or early afternoon Saturday, burglars smashed a back window of a home in the 2000 block of Jolley Drive and took off with jewelry and cash.

Around the same time, garage and entry doors were forced open at a home in the 2000 block of Karen Street, though nothing was reported missing, according to police reports.

On Sunday at 7:30 a.m., a man entered a home in the 1000 block of North Niagra Street, though nothing was reported missing. Police described the man as being about 30 years old, black, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds and wearing blue overalls.

Anyone with information on the home burglaries was urged to call Burbank police at (818) 238-3000.
