Burbank house fire causes $120K in damage
An attic fire caused an estimated $120,000 worth of damage to a Burbank home Thursday, fire officials said.
At 11:50 a.m., 23 Burbank fire fighters responded to the blaze at 2013 Monterey Ave., said Burbank Fire Capt. Peter Hendrickson. The fire was knocked down within 30 minutes.
No residents were home at the time, Hendrickson said.
Officials estimated there was $100,000 worth of structure damage to the home, plus an additional $20,000 worth of damage to its contents.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Hendrickson said.
