Burbank firefighters knock down late night garage fire

Burbank firefighters extinguished a garage blaze Thursday night that caused an estimated $60,000 in damage, authorities said.

At 11:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the 1900 block of Hilton Avenue to find a detached garage engulfed in flames, said Burbank Fire Capt. Peter Hendrickson.

More than 20 personnel knocked down the fire in 15 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Hendrickson said.
