Burbank Leader launches new calendar system

You may have noticed that The Burbank Leader has a new online calendar.

We revamped our local calendar listings with the help of Southern California-based social calendar company SquaredOut. Readers can now submit calendar listings directly to us.

To access local events in Burbank, visit the home page, as well as, https://www.burbankleader.com/calendar. Submissions can also be made on our Facebook page.

Readers will notice a “submit event” button on each of those pages. If clicked, a box will pop up, allowing people to type all event information and upload an image to accompany it. The more details offered, the more useful the tool is for the community.

Times Community News staff will review and approve the calendar listings. We reserve the right to edit or delete any listing that doesn’t fit our guidelines.

We ask that readers keep the subject matter appropriate and relevant to the Burbank coverage area, or within the Glendale or La Cañada Flintridge communities. Events outside the Times Community News coverage areas will not be approved.

We hope that by allowing you to submit your own events, our calendar will become even more well-rounded and informative.
