An unlicensed Las Vegas woman involved in a high-speed police pursuit that ended in Burbank Saturday morning was arrested after crashing into 15 cars, according to California Highway Patrol.

When a California Highway Patrol officer tried to pull over the 35-year-old for driving recklessly southbound on Highway 170 near Victory Boulevard around 10 a.m., the woman sped off, exiting at Burbank Boulevard, said California Highway Patrol Officer Christian Cracraft.

The chase continued as the woman traveled eastbound on Burbank Boulevard in a red Dodge pickup truck, first crashing into one moving car and then four more as she sped near Hollywood Way, Cracraft said. She then lost control of the truck and smashed into 10 parked vehicles between North Lima and North Avon streets.

The woman was arrested and transported to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank to check for injuries, Cracraft said. She was then sent to jail in Van Nuys for evading police, hit-and-run offenses and reckless driving.

The woman’s name and bail amount information were not immediately available.
