Providence High School raises $5,000 for typhoon relief

Within seven days, students at Providence High School helped raise $5,000 for victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

The students raised money in late November by selling baked goods during lunch breaks as well as bracelets for at least $1. Bob’s Big Boy also partnered with Providence by giving the school 20% of the sales it made on Nov. 20.

The money will be donated to Catholic Relief Services, an international relief organization, to support those affected by the typhoon.
