A Burbank yogurt shop was robbed at gunpoint Thursday for the second time in two weeks, police said.

At 2:37 p.m., police responded to reports of an armed robbery at Froyo Bliss, located at 101 N. Victory Blvd., said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

The suspect – described as white, six feet, one inch tall, and in his 20s – made off with an unknown amount of cash and the store clerk’s wallet before running through the rear alley. He was wearing a yellow plaid shirt.

After the incident, police were canvassing nearby areas searching for the suspect.

The description matches that of the suspect who robbed the store last week, though police could not confirm it was the same individual. The store clerk reportedly told police that “it might have been,” Ryburn said.

No injuries were reported. No customers were inside the shop, which opened roughly eight months ago, at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Burbank Police at (818) 238-3210.
