A 26-year-old woman was arrested Friday evening after allegedly fighting with two Ralphs supermarket employees while trying to steal a 12-pack of Corona beer, police said.

Lestee Singleton of Los Angeles allegedly attempted to leave Ralphs located at 1100 N. San Fernando Blvd., just east of Scott Road, with a 12-pack of Corona beer without paying when she was approached by a loss-prevention employee, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

The employees reportedly let Singleton go after recovering the beer, but as they were walking back into the store, Singleton allegedly ran back into the market and started fighting with them, he said.

She allegedly punched one loss-prevention officer, giving him a 4-inch cut on his lip, and another employee who was helping him, Ryburn said.

Singleton reportedly grabbed the beer again and attempted to leave, but the two employees restrained her until officers arrived.

Singleton was arrested on suspicion of robbery and was held in lieu of $50,000 bail, police said.
