A 22-year-old Burbank man was arrested Friday after allegedly bashing another man’s head with a skateboard, police said.
At midnight, officers responded to reports of a fight at Pickwick Bowl, located in the 900 block of Riverside Drive, where the suspect, identified as Lester Singleton, had reportedly struck a 25-year-old man’s head with a skateboard, said Burbank Police Lt. Eddie Ruiz.
The victim fell to the ground and lost consciousness, after which Singleton attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle before officers stopped him, Ruiz said.
Witnesses reportedly identified Singleton as the suspect.
He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Further details about the victim’s injuries or what caused the fight were not immediately available.
Singleton is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
