Letter: Public shouldn’t pay for Armenian school

I totally agree with the letters in Wednesday’s Leader, that the Armenian school is great, but why should we pay for it?

There are lots of different private schools in Burbank — Catholic, Methodist, Lutheran — but the taxpayers don’t pay for them.

North of Burbank there is a beautiful new Armenian church. Why can’t they put the school on the church property and have those who attend pay for it?

I hope the school board reconsiders their decision or, to be fair, we may have to pay for the Catholic, Methodist and Lutheran schools as well.
