Letter: Unwanted dangers of nighttime walks in Burbank

I have been a Burbank resident for more than six years and I live across the street from McCambridge Park. I usually walk around the park at night after dinner.

Of late I have noticed a group of young people gathered in the park after 10 p.m. smoking. From the smell of it I can say with confidence that it is marijuana. On the other end of the park there are couples performing lewd activities. Both activities are illegal.

Burbank is known as a safe city. I request the Burbank Police Department patrol McCambridge Park at night to curb these illegal activities and to make the park a safe place for residents in the neighborhood who wish to take a stroll in the night.
