Chandler bike path is overrun by dangers

I am a bicyclist who used to use the bike path all the time. Not anymore, it’s too dangerous (“Bike collisions on the rise,” Nov. 9).

The name really should be changed to “Chandler dog path.” Between dogs, roller-bladers, and wannabe Le Mans bikers, you take your life in your hands. I’ve had so many near misses I quit counting.

And yes, I’ve seen idiot bikers run the red light like the cops are chasing them.

The Chandler bike path used to be a great place to go, but not anymore.
