Riveted by IKEA’s sense of scale

In your article about IKEA’s plans to move to a new store site (IKEA plans to move its furniture,” Nov. 17), one fact riveted me. IKEA officials claim they need to build a store that is twice as big as the one they’re currently using at the Town Center. I understand the need for tax revenue and jobs and commerce. I understand the need to keep IKEA in Burbank. But twice as big? Seriously?
