Time to hang it up on cell towers

We are concerned about putting cellphone towers anywhere in Burbank. The city is now allowing it, if the companies get a permit. The city is more concerned about the money from the rental of the cellphone towers than they are about the safety and health of the people.

Rabbi Simcha Backman was the only church official who was concerned for the people (“Are cell towers a part of God’s call?” In Theory question, Jan. 12). He said “we do not know the long-term effects of digital waves on human beings.”

So why take a chance with our lives? They should not allow any more cellphone towers into the city.
