Glad for coverage on local gallery

I was very happy to see Bryan Mahoney (“Burb’s Eye View,” July 24) write about an art homage to Guillermo del Toro at Hyaena Gallery located on Olive Avenue in Burbank.

The owner of Hyaena Gallery is Bill Shafer. Shafer is one of the nicest small business owners (or people) you could ever meet! (The artwork may not all look “sweet,” but Bill sure is!) I am a strong believer in patronizing small, local businesses and it doesn’t hurt when the owner is such a good guy.
