Whole Foods yes, apartment building no

RE: “Market takes second bite at Burbank,” Aug. 17. The big issue is not the Whole Foods market, but the 241-unit apartment building.

I live and work just blocks away from the proposed site and my child is a student at Stevenson Elementary school about 300 yards away.

Do we actually think that building a massive apartment building on this lot will be good for our community?

Has anyone considered the impact this will have on our schools? Stevenson is already at max capacity. Have our City Council members considered what massive amounts of traffic on Oak Avenue and other neighboring streets will do to our neighborhood?

This is a bad idea for Burbank. I, for one, will be asking lots of questions of the Burbank City Council. I am curious why the city is even considering this project.
