Letter: Fifth columnists undermine the republic

Re: “Republican response to ACA is offensive,” Mailbag, Oct. 26.

I see in Alfred Aboulsaad’s letter that he is offended by sensible, real, American-born socialization processes, home-grown patriotism and proud nativism which are far less tainted by foreign influences.

One cannot tell Americans what is American in our own land. The Grand Old Party (GOP) dominated the states of the union in our U.S. House of Representatives and does reflect and amplify our less tainted American Puritanical thinking, behavior, motivations and way of living our lives.

We Americans look out for fifth columnists. These fifth columnists and their pals preach their usurping brand of being an American as they undermine our American Republic.
