Letter: Camp applications are due April 10

Share

The Burbank Coordinating Council Campership Program is still waiting to hear from more families. The deadline to turn in applications is April 10, but we have extended it another week to give more families an opportunity to apply. Low-income children ages 8 to 18 are offered a week of either day camp or resident camp this summer. But we need the application in order to process the request.

Applications are available at the front office of all public schools, as well as on our website at burbankcoordinatingcouncil.org.

Please fill it out, and mail it directly to P.O. Box 10126, Burbank CA 91510 so we can add the names to the list. We will begin calling and scheduling on Saturday, April 12, on a first come, first-served basis to be fair to all. Don’t miss the opportunity to have children experience the wonders of nature, friends and more. It is a special time to help grow self-esteem, self-confidence and simply enjoy being a part of camp. Cost to families is $15 for day camp or $25 for resident camp, while the actual price of camp ranges from $200 to $550. Great program, great discount, great opportunity!

You may call us at (818) 216-9377 with any questions or email us at bcccamperships@aol.com.

Please hurry as we want to help as many families as possible!
