Local athletes also found themselves in the heat of competition at the annual Burbank All-City Middle Schools Track and Field Meet. Nearly 300 athletes from the three local middle schools -- Jordan, John Muir and Luther -- took to the track and infield at Memorial Field for the friendly event.
