In the CIF Southern Section Division V-A quarterfinals Tuesday, the Bellarmine-Jefferson High boys’ basketball team looked to have a legitimate challenge in Lone Pine, who came into the contest on a 24-game winning streak and possessed a tall order with 6-foot-10 center Brad Greene. However, Bell-Jeff came on in the third quarter, created some separation and went on to post an 81-67 victory at home.
