Burroughs 9, Pasadena 0: Lily Gonzalez had three goals and four assists to pace the Indians to a Pacific League victory Friday on the road.

Olivia Aguilar added three goals and Olivia Cashman had four assists for Burroughs (3-0-1 in league).

Burbank 0, Hoover 0: Neither team could generate any offense in the Pacific League match Friday at Burbank.

The Bulldogs are 1-1-2 in league.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Pasadena 3, Burroughs 2: The Indians suffered their first Pacific League loss of the season Friday at Memorial Field.

Burroughs, the defending league champion, slipped to 2-1-1 in league. Manny Gonzalez had both goals for the Indians.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Burbank 44, Hoover 35: The Bulldogs evened their overall and Pacific League records with the victory Friday on the road.

Burbank, which received 12 points from Brianna Castro, eight points from Emily Megerdichian and seven points and 10 rebounds from Karen Casillas, improved to 8-8, 2-2 in league.

Burroughs 48, Pasadena 46: Faith Boulanger poured in 24 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to pace the Indians to a win, handing the Bulldogs their first Pacific League loss.

Kayla Wrobel added 11 points and seven rebounds for Burroughs (11-5, 3-1 in league)
