GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Burroughs 60, Muir 27: The Indians didn’t miss a beat in recording the Pacific League victory Tuesday on the road.

Dyani Del Castillo had 13 points, eight steals, five rebounds, Kayla Wrobel contributed 12 rebounds and seven points and Faith Boulanger had 16 points and 12 rebounds for Burroughs (15-5, 6-1 in league), which remains tied for first place in league.

Arcadia 46, Burbank 27: The Bulldogs, who trailed by one point at halftime, faulted in the second half Tuesday in absorbing the Pacific League loss.

Burbank is 8-11, 2-5 in league.

Pasadena Poly 47, Providence 35: It was a Prep League loss Tuesday for the Pioneers at home.

Audrey Sayoc had 12 points and five steals, Haley Laca added with eight points and nine rebounds and Katie Karroum had eight points for Providence (12-7, 2-2 in league).

Burroughs 11, Muir 0: Lauryn Bailey scored two goals and Lily Gonzalez had two goals and two assists to pace the Indians to a Pacific League win Tuesday at Memorial Field.

Burroughs improved to 9-3-2, 5-1-1 in league.

Arcadia 4, Burbank 0: The Bulldogs slipped to 1-3-3 in the Pacific League with the loss Tuesday at home.

Arcadia 4, Burbank 1: The Bulldogs (1-8, 1-6 in league) fell short Tuesday with a Pacific League loss on the road.

Providence 2, Canoga Park Armenian General Benevolent Union 1: Patrick Avedikian and Bryan Ortiz tallied goals for the Pioneers on Tuesday in a nonleague match on the road.

Providence moves to 15-5, 3-0 in league.
