Burbank 6, Muir 0: Madie Chase tallied three goals to help lift the Bulldogs to a Pacific League win at home Tuesday.

Roxy Payind added two goals and Calista Espino had one for Burbank (2-4-3 in league).

Burroughs 3, Glendale 1: Lauryan Bailey scored two goals to pace the host Indians to a Pacific League win Tuesday at Memorial Field.

Trinity Vournas added a goal and Charlotte Sanchez had two assists for Burroughs (10-4-2, 6-2-1 in league).

Chadwick 6, Providence 2: Leanne Salinas scored both of the Pioneers’ goals in the Prep League match Tuesday at the Glendale Sports Complex.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Providence 2, Chadwick 1: The Pioneers improved to 1-1 in the Prep League with a win on the road Tuesday.

Burbank 2, Muir 1: The Bulldogs earned the Pacific League victory against the host Mustangs on Tuesday.

Burbank is 2-9, 2-7 in league.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Glendale 65, Burroughs 50: The Indians fell to 15-7, 4-5 in the Pacific League with the loss Tuesday on the road.

Muir 70, Burbank 56: The Bulldogs (6-15, 2-6 in league) fell Tuesday in the Pacific League road game.

Providence 63, Serra 57: Pioneers’ A’jahni Levias scored 16 points and was named the player of the game in the 2020 Martin Luther King Showdown game Monday.

Burroughs 71, Compton Centenniel 45: Indians’ Blake Ballard scored18 points and was named the player of the game in the 2020 Martin Luther King Showdown game Monday.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 99, Burbank 58: The Bulldogs fell Monday in the 2020 Martin Luther King Showdown game.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Burroughs 13, Hoover 2: The Indians jumped out to a big lead and cruised to a Pacific League win Tuesday at home.

The Indians (15-5, 3-1 in league) took a 4-0 lead after one quarter and held a 6-1 advantage at halftime.

Crescenta Valley 15, Burbank 3: The Bulldogs fell at the hands of the defending Pacific League champions Tuesday at home.

Burbank slipped to 10-6, 2-2 in league.

Burbank in Nogales Tournament: The Bulldogs earned wins against Chino Hills, 9-7, and El Rancho, 8-5, Saturday to finish the tourney with a 4-0 record.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Muir 51, Burbank 48: Alle Tarvirdi had 16 points for the visiting Bulldogs in the Pacific League contest Tuesday.

Karen Casillas added 10 points and Christina Ohanians chipped in with nine for Burbank (8-13, 2-7 in league).
