Had a fine first season for the Indians, recording a 42-5 overall record and helping Burroughs to a share of the Pacific League title.

Placed third in the tough Rio Hondo League, had a 46-14 record and helped the Spartans to the playoff quarterfinals.

Ejmin Mehranian,

Junior,

Hoover

Proved to be one of Hoover’s top players, as he went 40-4 overall, 25-4 in Pacific League competition, before moving on to the semifinals of the league tournament.

DOUBLES

Jeff Asano, Junior, and Elliot Kim, Junior, Glendale

Enjoyed another stellar season as Glendale’s top tandem. The duo finished 46-8, 32-4 in league, to reach the Pacific League finals and the CIF Individual Tournament for the second season in a row.

Jonathan Kim, Senior, and John Lee, Senior, Flintridge Prep

Duo finished 37-8, 15-3 in the Prep League, and competed for the second straight season in the CIF Individual Tournament.

Jesse Santos, Senior, and Eric Khanlarian, Senior, Crescenta Valley

Provided leadership in helping the Falcons qualify for the postseason. Combined to go 44-5 overall, 32-4 in the Pacific League.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Will Moravec, La Cañada

Helped the Spartans enjoy a successful season, which included a trip to the CIF Southern Section Division II quarterfinals. La Cañada also went 17-7 and handed San Marino its first league loss in 28 years.
