Burbank golfer gets rare ace: Bulldogs’ Tess Apinchapong had an amazing shot recently when she made a hole in one in a Pacific League match.

The ace came Oct. 13th at Santa Anita Golf Course. On the par-3 No. 4 hole, Apinchapong drove the ball and it dropped in the hole 100 yards away. It was her first hole in one and she finished the round with a 39.

She is only the second golfer in league history to make a hole in one. The first was former Burbank standout Jenn Todd, who accomplished the feat four years ago in the league finals at Brookside Golf Course No. 2.

Last week, Apinchapong finished ninth in league.
