Providence 49, Glendale Adventist 22: The Pioneers remained in a tie for first place in the Liberty League with an easy win Thursday at home.

Rita Khatchadourian stepped up for Providence, scoring a game-high 15 points — including five three-pointers. Teammate Bea Benedicto added 12 points.

The Pioneers (17-6, 6-1 in league) jumped out to an early lead, as they led, 20-6, after one quarter.

Burroughs 49, Arcadia 24: The Indians had little trouble gaining the Pacific League victory Tuesday.

Aysia Shellmire led the Burroughs charge, notching 17 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks. Teammate Lisha Elsenbach added 10 points and 10 rebounds and Chelsea Rhamdeow had nine points.

Burroughs 1, Arcadia 0: It was a big win for the Indians Friday, as they stayed in second place with a win at Luther Burbank Middle School.

Burroughs (8-5-4, 8-2-2) scored the lone goal of the contest when Hallie White put the ball past the goalkeeper in the 74th minute on a pass from Tatiana Rizzotti

Burroughs 4, Glendale 0: The Indians remained in a three-way tie for second place in the Pacific League with a win Tuesday at Glendale.

Daniela Salinas had two goals and Haley O’Brien and Maria Gomez had a goal each for Burroughs.

The Indians defense did not allow Glendale a shot on goal. The Indian defense was led by Haley O’Brien, Riley Garden, Jose Castellon, Ashley Caro and Delaney O’Brien. Alexis Mendias and Rica Chuidian split time in goal.

Burroughs 8, Muir 0: Daniela Salinas had three goals and Haley O’Brien added two to pace the Indians to a Pacific League win Jan. 28 at Luther Burbank Middle School.

Haley White, Vanessa Castillo and Marisa Vasquez all scored goals and Tatiana Rizzotti had three assists and Daniela Salinas tallied two assists.

Goalkeeper Alexis Mendias recorded the shutout.
