Burroughs 2, Hoover 0: The Indians (9-5-4, 9-2-2 in league) stayed in second place in the Pacific League with the win Tuesday at Hoover.

With a 3-0 win against Glendale Tuesday, Crescenta Valley clinched the league championship.

Burbank 1, Pasadena 1: Anabel Gonzalez scored in extra time to give the Bulldogs the tie Tuesday in a Pacific League match at Burbank.

Although the Bulldogs (7-0-6 in league) have not lost in league play, they are still in third place.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Glendale 50, Burroughs 53: The Indians were in the game Friday, but the Nitros came on in the fourth quarter to earn a Pacific League victory at Glendale.

Burroughs (3-22, 1-11) had a 42-38 lead after three quarters, but was outscored, 15-8, in the fourth.

It was the Indians sixth straight league loss.

Burbank 63, Arcadia 52: The Bulldogs stayed in the hunt for a playoff spot in the Pacific League with a win Friday on the road.

The win allowed Burbank (15-10, 6-6) to remain tied with Glendale for fourth place in league.

The Bulldogs used a 17-8 fourth-quarter output to secure the victory.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Arcadia 41, Burbank 22: The Bulldogs were outscored, 21-2, in the third quarter Friday in a Pacific League loss on the road.

The loss put Burbank (13-11, 6-6) in a tie for fourth place in the league standings.
