Bellarmine-Jefferson 63, Arroyo Grande 56: The Guards jumped out to a 20-8 lead after the first quarter and didn’t look back in gaining a win Thursday in the third round of the Santa Barbara Tournament.

Rishonda Napier and Mariah Bankhead had 13 points each, Tiffany Kho added 12 and Averie Guzman had 11 for the Guards (4-4).

Providence 52, Immaculate Heart 51: The Pioneers put together a torrid comeback in the fourth quarter to salvage a win in the semifinals of the 15th annual Providence Pioneer Shootout on Thursday.

Down by 15 points in the second half, Providence outscored the Pandas, 16-4, in the final quarter.

Providence 52, Ramona Convent 45: Katia Dabbaghian scored 13 points and had five rebounds, five assists and five steals Wednesday to pace the Pioneers in the quarterfinals of the 15th annual Providence Pioneer Shootout.

Catherine Saint added 10 points and four blocked shots and Bea Benedicto had eight points and five rebounds for Providence.

Burroughs in the Crespi Tournament: The Indians lost their first three matches of the event.

Burroughs fell to Royal, 1-0, and L.A. Monroe, 5-0, in contests Saturday.

In a consolation match Tuesday, Burroughs lost to Van Nuys, 3-1. Julio Guillermo scored the Indians’ lone goal on a free kick two minutes into the contest.
