Burroughs 16, Glendale 2: The Indians improved to 3-0 in the Pacific League with the victory Thursday at home.

Arcadia 10, Burbank 8: The Bulldogs played well against the defending Pacific League champions in the match Thursday at Burbank.

Burbank singles player Clayton Pauff swept his three sets, 7-5, 6-3, 6-0.

BOYS GOLF

Burbank 223, Temple City 262: The Bulldogs received a trio of 44s by Jason Apinchapong, Blake Newton and Dylan Sherry to notch the nonleague win Tuesday at Eaton Canyon Golf Course.

Austin Tatka had a 45 and Andy Chang had a 46 for Burbank.

Burbank in Glendora High Invitational: The Bulldogs placed 18th out of 32 teams Monday at the Glendora Country Club.

Brady Dunayer shot an 88, Jason Apinchapong shot a 90 and Roman Verciglio had a 98.

Burroughs 227, Pasadena 320: The Indians picked up the nonleague win Tuesday at their home course of De Bell Golf Club.

Patrick Colbert and Daniel Kesicbasian shot 43s, Garrit Green had a 45, Nick Rivimol had a 46 and Sean White had a 50 for Burroughs.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Canyon Country Canyon d. Burbank, 22-25, 23-25, 25-13, 25-20, 15-12: The Bulldogs lost a close nonleague contest Wednesday on the road.

Elijah Cowart, Justin Saisirikul and Joseph Servin had seven kills each for Burbank. Derian Blandon had 12 digs and Ryan Garcia had 36 assists.
