Arcadia 3, Burbank 1: The Bulldogs fell to 5-12-1, 2-5 in league with the loss Tuesday on the road.

Hoover 10, Burroughs 8: The Indians were defeated in the Pacific League match Tuesday on the road.

BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD

Burroughs in Mt. SAC Relays: The Indians received a fine performance from Matt Schwartz in the pole vault in Saturday’s competition at Mount San Antonio College.

In the seeded event, Schwartz finished first with an effort of 15 feet, 6 inches, which is No. 3 on the Burroughs all-time list.

In the 4x400-meter relay, the Indians placed third in their heat. The squad of Robert Martinez (50.2 seconds), Augusto Corea (51.2), Ricky Mendez (51.9) and Everth Vargas (53.1) finished in 3:26.37.
