Man arrested for allegedly trying to steal $900 worth of items from store
A 44-year-old Glendale man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly attempting to steal $900 worth of items from Target in Burbank, police said.
Albert Grigorian reportedly entered Target, located at 1800 Empire Ave., filled his shopping cart with roughly 30 items and attempted to walk out without paying, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
Among the items in his cart were a basketball hoop, Xbox gaming system, a compact refrigerator, personal hygiene items like toothpaste and deodorant, various DVDs and children’s clothing, Ryburn added.
He was released after posting $20,000 bail, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department jail records.
