Police are investigating a residential burglary in Burbank where $3,000 worth of items were reportedly stolen on Monday.

Between 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., unidentified thieves broke into the house – located in the 1700 block of North Maple Street – through the rear door and stole a laptop, computer, DVD player and watch, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

The suspects ransacked the home, leaving drawers opened, and the television was hanging off the wall mount, Ryburn added.

Anyone who might have information about the incident is encouraged to call Burbank police at (818) 238-3210.
