Claremont d. Burroughs 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 25-22: The Indians were forced to share the Pacific League championship with a loss Tuesday at home.
It is the second time in three years Burroughs (18-4, 11-1 in league) — ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division III — has shared the title with the Woldpack (11-1 in league) — No. 4 in the division.
It is the third straight season the Indians have won or shared the league crown.
Ike Nwache had 14 kills and Daniel Jacobs added 13 for the Indians.
Burbank 12, Pasadena 2: The Bulldogs bounced back from a one-run loss in 10 innings four days earlier to earn a Pacific League victory Tuesday at home.
The game was called after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.
Pitcher Andrew Hernandez went the distance and recorded a no-hitter, striking out seven and walking two.
Burbank (10-8, 7-3) hammered out 12 hits. Rickey Perez was three for three with two walks and four runs batted in, Hector Rodriguez had a hit, two walks and two RBI and Paul Frias knocked in two runs for the Bulldogs.

Sophomore-freshman Pacific League finals: Athletes from Burbank High and Burroughs captured league championships in 10 of 14 events contested Friday at the event at Arcadia High.
Two athletes were able to capture two league titles. In the girls' high jump, Bulldogs' Elizabeth Gevorkian won the event with a 4-foot-10 effort and also captured the long jump (15-11 3/4). Andrew Williams of Burroughs was a double winner in the boys' long jump (19-5 1/2) and the triple jump (39-0 1/2).
